Women don't experience life in categories.
We're mothers and daughters. Partners and divorcees. Executives and entrepreneurs. Caregivers and friends. We're starting over, changing careers, raising kids, caring for parents, navigating midlife or simply trying to figure out what comes next.
Sometimes we're several of those things at once.
Hestia’s Grove is the space between the categories.
A community where women can come as they are, build meaningful relationships and find the connection, support and resources they need for whatever season they're in. And having a lot of fun in the process.
Starting online and in St. Louis and growing together.
Welcome to Hestia's Grove
A modern village for women

The Village, our members-only community, coming soon!
Why “Hestia’s Grove”?

Hestia was the Greek goddess of the hearth and home. Her flame represents the warmth, safety and belonging created when people gather.
A grove is a collection of trees whose roots intertwine, shelter one another and make room for new growth.
Together, Hestia's Grove represents what we're creating:
A place where women can put down roots, find warmth and belonging, and grow alongside one another.
A village built for modern life.
We often hear about “the village,” but, where is it?
In St. Louis, the need for community is especially tangible.
St. Louis has the largest share of solo-living households (48%) and solo-living population (24%) among U.S. cities with a population of at least 50,000 people. (The New York Times)
And for women 35+, isolation can have cumulative effects over time. Public health research identifies midlife as an important intervention window because the physical and psychological effects of loneliness can compound over time. (Source)
Anecdotally, St. Louis has a reputation for being a challenging place to cultivate new friendships, particularly after high school.
Hestia's Grove brings women together through physical experiences and digital connection, creating opportunities to form relationships that extend well beyond a single event.
We're creating Hestia's Grove around three simple ideas.
GATHER
Our St. Louis community will come to life through intimate, welcoming experiences such as:
-
Potluck dinners
-
Creative gatherings and craft classes
-
Book and movie clubs
-
Meaningful conversations
-
Educational experiences
-
Family-friendly community events
-
Pop-ups hosted with local businesses and community partners
And, in our brick-and-mortar space, we will have space for you to just recharge and connect – nothing scheduled, no expectations to be productive.
We also aim to provide child-friendly areas within the space, to encourage friendships and foster community with the next generation, too.
These aren't networking events disguised as friendship.
They're opportunities to simply show up, connect and build relationships.
Our online community will extend that village beyond a physical location.
Women will be able to participate in larger conversations, share resources and recommendations, find women who have walked a similar path and, when they need something more personal, opt in to be a listening ear for another woman.
Think “phone a friend in your pocket” or a virtual hug when you need one.
Over time, Hestia’s Grove will expand beyond connection into education, mentorship, resource sharing and collective action.
Because when women have stronger relationships and access to information, they are better equipped to make decisions, navigate transitions and create healthier futures for themselves and the people who depend on them.
